Overview

Learn English, grow up and master your football skills in England with this outstanding residential programme for students aged 12–18.

Hosted at the prestigious Uppingham School and delivered in partnership with Spurs Football Development, the course blends high-level football training with immersive language learning in an authentic British boarding school environment.

With 30 hours per week of technical coaching, strength and conditioning, and specialist workshops, players develop advanced skills, tactical awareness, resilience and professional training habits. Sessions are led by FA & UEFA-qualified coaches, with small training groups to ensure personalised attention and maximum progress.

Beyond the pitch, students build confidence, independence and lifelong friendships through evening activities and cultural excursions. Suitable for English levels A2 to C2, including native speakers, this is a complete sporting and personal development experience. Transfers from London Heathrow or Gatwick are included, with direct flights available from major GCC cities.

Training:
Players train in groups in accordance with their age and ability.
Technical training consists of 25 hours of football coaching per week and enables students to develop their technical skills and practise advanced match play strategies.


Stadium / Training Ground visits:
Subject to availability and at the discretion of Tottenham Hotspur, players may be able to visit the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and/or Training Ground.

Sunday evenings icebreaker activities help new students integrate into school life and meet continuing students.


BSS Experience:
Evening entertainment with fun challenges, games and social events to develop personal and social skills, self-confidence, and authenticity.


Cultural Programme:

Campus:
Whilst sharing this campus with other residential and non-residential groups, students will have dedicated access to many academic, boarding, and leisure facilities. This is a strictly no smoking centre.


Accommodation:
Boys and girls sleep in suitable boarding accommodation on campus. Students share their bedroom with children of the same sex and of a similar age. 1–6 beds per room. Bathrooms are shared.


Meals:
The menu offers a mix of English and international food. Vegetarian and special diets for medical or religious needs are accommodated.


English Level:
Footballers of the future welcomes students with English levels between A2 Elementary to C2 Proficient. This course is also suitable for native speakers.


Fitness:
Footballers require some previous football training. This course is suitable for players who are passionate about football, for those who play in a school team or for their local football club, and for those who compete at town, regional or national level.
All coaches undergo extensive Club training and are FA & UEFA-Qualified and work across both Academy and Player Development Programmes.


Travel insurance:
Mandatory for all travellers and must be taken out within a reasonable time after booking. Not included in the price. Must cover personal accident, death, medical expenses, emergency repatriation (minimum US$200,000), and is strongly recommended to cover cancellation, personal liability, and luggage. Policy number and 24-hour emergency contact must be provided on the first day.
